Kim Tae-hee and Park Hae-soo are entering Hollywood as they join the cast of ‘Butterfly,’ a new series on Amazon Prime in the United States, as reported by Variety.
Produced and starring Daniel Dae Kim, known for his roles in series such as ‘Lost’ and ‘Hawaii Five O,’ ‘Butterfly’ is a drama based on the graphic novel of the same name. The story revolves around David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), a mysterious former U.S. intelligence agent whose life takes a dark turn due to a crucial choice. He becomes the target of Rebecca, a current agent tasked with eliminating him because of his past.
Making their debut in American dramas with “Butterfly,” Kim Tae-hee and Park Hae-soo, the latter known for his special appearances, are generating anticipation. Audiences are eager to witness the performances of these two Korean stars in ‘Butterfly.’
The production team will shoot the series, comprising six episodes, in South Korea and release it on Amazon Prime.
